Lagos State has officially welcomed popular influencer Mandykiss as a brand ambassador for LASKADA’s anti-drug initiative.
The collaboration aims to harness her substantial social media reach, boasting over 400,000 followers, to engage a broader audience throughout the state.
Authorities emphasized that drug abuse remains a pressing societal challenge that cannot be addressed by government efforts alone. By enlisting influencers like Mandykiss, LASKADA seeks to enhance awareness and promote preventive strategies more effectively.
During the announcement, a spokesperson remarked, “No one is without a past, and nobody is perfect. But with the reach Mandykiss has, we hope she can help extend our message to every corner of Lagos in the fight against this issue.”
As part of her role, Mandykiss will take part in public events, educational programmes, and social media campaigns aimed at discouraging drug use among young people and the wider community.
The initiative highlights the state’s dedication to public health and social welfare, combining governmental measures with community involvement and influencer advocacy to maximize its impact.
Officials noted that this partnership represents a fresh strategy for addressing societal challenges, underscoring the value of collaborating with individuals who can effectively connect with the public.
