MC Fish, the estranged husband of Nollywood actress Anita Joseph, has opened up about his failed marriage and the lessons he has taken from the experience.
Speaking during an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the media personality revealed that he has no regrets about getting married at the age of 27. According to him, he entered the union because he felt valued, fulfilled, and saw qualities he believed were essential for a successful marriage.
Reflecting on the relationship, MC Fish said the experience taught him the importance of honesty between partners. He stressed that transparency is a key ingredient in any healthy relationship and advised couples to be completely open with one another, even when discussing difficult issues.
The hype man noted that genuine communication and sincerity can help build trust and strengthen the bond between partners, adding that both individuals must be willing to share the truth at all times.

“If you love someone and care for the person, you shouldn’t be afraid to do whatever you want with the person. I always believe in optimism. At that point, I was happy and respected. And I saw everything I wanted in a marriage and went into it. I learnt that in any relationship, honesty is important on both sides. Let it be as open as a book, no matter how hard it is”.
