Missing man found d3ad in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the d3ath of Gambo Keke Vahyella, popularly known as Zira, who was reported missing for several weeks.

The spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who confirmed the development in a statement on Tuesday, October 21, said the decomposed body of the deceased was discovered on October 20, 2025, around the Bagale Mountain area.

The statement said the body had been evacuated to a hospital for autopsy to determine the cause of d3ath.

It added that the Command had launched a full-scale investigation to unravel the circumstances leading to the incident.

“The Adamawa State Police Command has commenced investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the death of one Gambo Keke Vahyella (a.k.a. Zira), whose decomposed body was found on Oct. 20, 2025, around Bagale Mountain. The body has been removed to the hospital for autopsy,” the statement read.

The police appealed to members of the public for their usual cooperation and support to assist in the ongoing investigation.
