“With a heart full of gratitude to God, I am delighted to officially announce my appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State on Films and Creative Industries, by His Excellency, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State.
This appointment, which was graciously given in September, is one I receive with deep gratitude, humility, and a profound sense of responsibility.
I have spent years building my career in the entertainment industry, contributing to Nollywood, championing creative expression, and creating platforms that inspire and empower others. I understand that the creative industry holds enormous potential for economic growth, job creation, cultural preservation and global recognition. I do not take this responsibility for granted. I see it as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the development of our creative ecosystem, amplify emerging talents, support filmmakers and creatives, and help position Enugu State as a thriving destination for film, arts, culture, and entertainment.
I am particularly excited about the possibilities ahead and the opportunity to serve my state in a different capacity.
To His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah, thank you for the confidence you have placed in me.
This is beyond a title; it is a call to impact.
For Enugu.
For our creatives, for the future of our creative industry.
Thank you, Your Excellency”.
