Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has addressed criticism over a viral video of herself and her colleague, Jide Awobona.
Last week, Bimpe and Lateef attended content creator Folagade Banks’ movie premiere, where the couple were seen sitting with Jide Awobona.
In the viral clip, Bimpe, who sat between the two men, was seen chatting with Jide.
Social media users were displeased with the video, claiming Lateef was very uncomfortable with the way Bimpe was gisting with Lateef beside him.
Speaking out, Bimpe noted that a one-minute clip has become a topic of public analysis. She said it is fascinating how a normal conversation between friends has become suspicious to people.
Bimpe told critics that not all marriages are built on fear, insecurity, and constant monitoring. She made it known that her husband is a secure man and a brief conversation with a family friend doesn’t threaten their marriage.
