Media personality Queen Dami has responded to critics who believe her past relationship with controversial street-hop singer Portable has negatively affected her life.
In a recent video shared online, Queen Dami dismissed the idea that her identity or future should be judged based on who she once dated. She stressed that being in a relationship with someone does not determine her value or define her journey.
“You people can never judge me by my past; I didn’t kill anybody. We only dated and that doesn’t mean my life has spoilt. I dated a human being, not an animal,” she said.
The media personality questioned why her former relationship continues to attract criticism, noting that Portable is also a human being despite his public controversies.
“Did I date a mad person? Or was he a thief? He is human like you, and I and he didn’t kill anybody,” she added.
Queen Dami also rejected claims that her relationship history has made her unattractive to potential partners. According to her, several men still admire her and are interested in being with her, although some prefer to keep their relationships away from public attention.
“There are some men out there that want me so bad, they’ll only tell me to not cast them and keep our relationship private,” she revealed.
She further claimed that some of her admirers are serious about building a future with her and are willing to support and care for her.
“There are some people that can d!e for me like this, people that don’t play about me, ready to take care of me, but they are only waiting for me to say YES,” she stated.
Queen Dami’s comments highlight her resolve to move beyond public opinions and take control of her own story, insisting that her past relationship should not determine her future.
