Afrobeat singer Davido has weighed in on the ongoing music label drama.
Newsunplug reported that Shallopopi had called out Dapper Music over alleged unpaid money. He claimed that more than $1 million of his money was allegedly in Dapper’s possession.
In his series of rants, he accused the music executive of manipulating artists, claiming he had previously warned him about how the situation could end. He described him as the real Yahoo boy.
In what seems like a reaction to the saga, Davido, in a now-deleted social media post, said he also wants to talk, but his manager, Asa Asika, and one Banks are preventing him from speaking out.
“Since everybody dey vex for their label. Me I wan talk o, na Asa and Bank dey hold my mouth since. No worry, no be now. The time will come. E go pass Peter own”.
