Chelsea’s Tyrique George has shared insights into his heritage, revealing that his father is Nigerian while his mother is Ghanaian.

Currently on loan at Everton, George discussed his background during an interview about his life off the pitch.

At just 19 years old, the talented midfielder has the opportunity to represent Nigeria, Ghana, or England at the international level.

In a segment on Everton’s official channel, George introduced himself by saying, “I am Tyrique George, and here are five things you should know about me.

He explained, “I was born in Camden, London, my mum is Ghanaian, and my dad is Nigerian.”

George has been a part of Chelsea’s youth setup since 2014 and made his senior debut in 2024.
