Nollywood actress Nancy Isime is remembering her late colleague, Alex Ekubo, three months after his death.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she said she doesn’t think she’ll ever let the severity of his death dawn on her because it’s too heavy.

Nancy said one vital lesson she has learnt is to capture as many memories as one can with their people. She expressed gratitude for Instagram stories archive, noting how life teaches one lessons they didn’t ask for.
The movie star said a man like Alex can never be forgotten, noting how legends don’t die but transition.
“Alexx once saidddd…
Funniest Man in every room!
It’s been almost 3 months since the news got to me, a little over a month since I stood on that stage to host the service of songs, a little over a month since I watched my friend laid to rest.
To be honest, I don’t think I’ll ever let the severity of the previous paragraph fully dawn on me because I just can’t…It’s too heavy.
The slides in between are memories from the last film set we were on together (Drink), memories from our last hosting gig together (Face of Zikel 2021), our last international trip together (one music fest Dubai), and his last (public) birthday wish to me.
Life loves teaching you lessons you didn’t ask for, doesn’t it?
The lessons this season have taught me, wow!!
But in all things, we must give thanks!… So I’m thankful.
One vital lesson I’ve learnt is to capture as many memories as we can with our people!
Thank God for Instagram stories archive!
A Man like Alexx Ikuku Ekubo can never be forgotten.
Legends never die; they transition.
Forever and a day in our hearts.
Fam, what’s your favourite Alexx saying? Keep it going in the comments”.
