All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Joe Igbokwe, has stated that the realization of an Igbo presidency depends on a fundamental shift in political attitude and the building of strategic alliances across other regions.

In a recent social media post addressing the 2027 presidential race, Igbokwe criticized the online behavior of some South-East citizens. He questioned how the region intends to secure the nation’s top political office while continually alienating potential allies through social media attacks.

“You cannot insult everybody and expect them to vote for you,” Igbokwe remarked, urging for more collaborative engagements ahead of the next general elections.
