Nigerian football star, Alex Iwobi, has showered praises on the qualities of Super Eagles pair Felix Agu and Benjamin Fredrick.

Iwobi spoke as Eric Chelle’s side prepares to take on Rwanda and South Africa in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Saturday and Tuesday, respectively.

The former Arsenal player said he was pleased with both Fredrick and Agu after watching them in training session.

“We had a light training session, and I got to see their [Fredrick and Agu] qualities, but the manager [Eric Chelle] knows, but there is a reason why they are here to represent Nigeria,” Iwobi, who currently plays his club football at Fulham, told Football Fans Tribe.

“My job is to make Fredrick and Agu feel welcome and at home.

“Give them the confidence to come and showcase their talent [for the Super Eagles].”

All the three players will hope to get some minutes against Rwanda and South Africa.
