A Nigerian woman, Ameerah, is facing intense online backlash after she publicly proposed to a married man, in hopes of becoming his second wife.
The controversy began started after the man, Rayyan Tilde went viral for surprising his wife with a luxurious backyard renovation that featured a home gym, outdoor kitchen and tennis court.
Tagging the man on X, Ameerah praised his dedication and care for his family, calling it admirable.
Ameerah, who describes herself as a ‘woman of faith, values and purpose” proposed to Tilde, stating she would be honoured to be his second wife when he is ready to take a new wife.
The post didn’t go down well with X users, who wasted no time calling her out.
“Assalam @RayTilde, I hope this message meets you well. I admire d dedication & care you show your family. When you’re ready to add a second wife, I would be honored to be ur life partner. Am a woman of faith, values, & purpose, and I’d love the chance to get to know you properly,” she wrote.
The post didn’t go down well with X users, who called her out.
