A woman from Taraba state has stirred reactions online after photos surfaced of her kneeling to accept a marriage proposal from her partner, Ishaku Joseph who hails from Adamawa.

The engagement became public on Monday, April 27, after a mutual friend, Musa Basil Yante, shared images of the unconventional moment. In the photos, the unidentified bride-to-be is seen on her knees as Joseph, who hails from Adamawa state, presents the ring.

Yante’s post, which quickly gained traction, offered warm congratulations to the couple.

“Brotherhood is proud of you my guy. Normally this is how is supposed to be. You deserve an accolade. Congratulations Ishaku Joseph AKA Acramay,” he wrote.

The groom is from Adamawa State while the bride hails from Taraba State.
