A Nigerian lady, Jennifer Blessing has advised intending couples to choose single men as best men for their wedding so that chief bridesmaids “will see husband to marry”

She stated this in a Facebook post on Monday, March 23 while recalling her own experience as a chief bridesmaid in 2023, when the groom’s best man turned out to be married.

“Hmmm! At a time I thought that when I am the chief bridesmaid to a couple, that it will give me room to connect to the best man, not knowing that some best man are already married. Hei! Chimoo, please I suggest that the celebrants should always bring non engaged best man, so that we the chief bridesmaid and the ashabi will see husband marry,” she wrote.

“Is that clear? Please to those that are in the same shoe with me, God will connect you to your own best man in Jesus name Amen.”
