A video capturing a volent altercation between a Nigerian woman and a taxi driver in Pakistan over transport fare dispute has gone viral on social media, drawing widespread public attention.
According to local media, the incident happened on a busy road in the New Town area of Rawalpindi.
The footage shows the Nigerian woman assaulting the taxi driver on an open street, prompting nearby pedestrians and motorists to step in and intervene to defuse the situation.
When inquisitive citizens questioned the driver regarding the reason behind the altercation, he explained that the dispute erupted after the Nigerian passenger refused to settle the fare. NigerianFootball News
The total amount for the ride stood at Rs700 (N3,400) leading the bystanders to resolve the matter by stepping forward to guarantee payment to the driver.
Meanwhile, authorities said that no official complaint was registered by either party involved in the dispute.
