Nigerians have resurfaced an old video of streamer Peller in which he said he would snub IShowSpeed if the American content creator ever visited Nigeria, a clip that has gained renewed attention following Peller’s recent run-in with security in Lagos.
The throwback video began circulating online shortly after Peller was blocked from getting close to IShowSpeed during his visit, with security personnel preventing him from meeting the streamer. In the earlier clip, Peller complained that IShowSpeed had failed to respond to his messages and said he would tell him to “gerrout” if he ever came around.
The contrast between the old remarks and Peller’s recent attempts to meet and collaborate with IShowSpeed has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many users pointing out the irony.
