Solution FC is reportedly set to exit the Nigeria National League, NNL, ahead of the new season.
The club is owned and financed by the Anambra State government.
According to reports, the state government has declined to fund the club ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
With funding now reportedly withdrawn, the club is expected to withdraw from the NNL, ending its stint in the second tier league.
Privately-owned Akubudike FC, also based in Anambra State, has reportedly acquired the club’s slot.
The club is now expected to participate in the 2026/27 NNL season in place of Solution FC.
The new campaign is scheduled to commence on Saturday, 31 October.
