Akwa United head coach, Paul Offor has expressed gratitude to his entire team for contributing to their success in the 2025-26 Nigeria National League,NNL.

The Promise Keepers are on the verge of a securing promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL next season.

Akwa United has been outstanding since the start of the season with the likes of Paul Offor, Daniel Gothom and Aloysius Thankgod recognised for their top performance by the league organisers.

Offor received an award for the best coach in the league for third consecutive month on Monday.

“I m grateful to God for His blessings. I thank my players for their commitment and for believing in us, my coaching crew, and my backroom staff for their dedication and support,” Offor told Akwa United’s media.

“I also appreciate the Akwa United management for their support. I thank the NNL board for this great initiative. Winning this award motivates me to work harder.”

Akwa United will look to build on this success as they aim to win their remaining two matches of the season, which will guarantee promotion to the NPFL.
