Activist and Presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has kicked against the call for the increase of the minimum wage from N70, 000 to N100,000.

Kwara state governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, on Friday, May 29, asked President Tinubu to increase minimum wage to N100, 000. According to him, some states have increased the minimum wage to N100, 000.

Reacting to Gov AbdulRahman’s call, Sowore said no worker in Nigeria can live a decent life with N100, 000 as monthly salary.
