Israel DMW has stated that nobody can ban singer, Davido, from performing in Edo State.
Israel, who is Davido’s logistics manager, stated this while reacting to a directive by Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo.
Newsunplug reports that Apostle Kassy Chukwu, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Media, had in a video on Friday, announced that Davido has been banned from performing in Edo over his online altercation with Okpebholo during the Osun State governorship election.
Reacting to the announcement, Israel who is from Edo, declared that Davido can’t be banned from performing in the state.
While noting that Davido’s mother hails from Edo State, Israel claimed that Apostle Kassy Chukwu is a settler who came from Ebonyi to constitute “nuisance in Benin City”.
Sharing Apostle Kassy Chukwu’s picture on Instagram, Israel wrote, “HE’S FROM EBONYI STATE, AND NOT FROM EDO. 100% A REAL SETTLER, WHO HAS BECOME A COMPLETE NUISANCE IN BENIN CITY. AN APC FAKE PASTOR, A CUM PASTOR. A BEER PALOUR PASTOR.
“KINDLY DISREGARD WHAT HE’S SAYING. HE’S NOT SPEAKING FOR WE EDOLITES. NO MAN ON THIS PLANET EARTH, CAN BAN OGA FROM EDO, HIS MATERNAL HOME. IDIOT OF A PASTOR.”
