Bayelsa United Chairman, Tarilaya Nwankwe, is adamant that the club won’t be relegated to the Nigeria National League, NNL.

The Prosperity Boys sit in 19th position on the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, table with 40 points.

Bayelsa United will take on Rangers, Remo Stars and Kwara United in their remaining fixtures this season.

Nwankwe expressed optimism ahead of the final fixtures.

“We won’t go down, that’s what I want to say,” Nwankwe told Completesports.

“We have three games remaining and, without predicting how the matches will go, what I want to assure you is that we won’t be relegated.”

Four teams will be relegated to the NNL.
