Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Kabiru Dogo has warned the club’s supporters against high expectations in the 2026-27 season.
Dogo said that the team was undergoing a rebuilding process following mass exodus players at the end of last season.
The 2026 President Federation Cup winning coach assured that they will build a formidable squad for the new season.
“We are starting a new era at Niger Tornadoes because most of the players from last season have moved to other clubs,” Dogo stated in Minna on Wednesday.
“We have to build almost from scratch, and that is a huge responsibility for me and my technical crew. Rebuilding is never easy, but we are determined to put together a formidable team that the fans will be proud of.
“I want to assure our supporters that we will get it right. All we ask for is their patience, understanding and support as we work towards achieving our goals.”
Dogo stressed that they were working tirelessly to identify quality players who possessed the character, discipline and commitment required to represent Niger Tornadoes.
