Stanley Eguma has said Enyimba deserved a point from the oriental derby with Abia Warriors, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

The Aba giants held Abia Warriors to a 0-0 draw in a keenly contested matchday 12 encounter at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.

The stalemate extends Enyimba’s unbeaten run to two games

Enyimba also moved to sixth position on the league table following the result.

The People’s Elephant technical adviser expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the game.

“It was generally a good game; the two teams played a high tactical game,” Eguma was quoted by the NPFL media.

“We are happy to have got the draw although we planned for the maximum points, but we met a stubborn side in Abia Warriors,” Eguma said after the match.”

Enyimba will entertain Wikki Tourists in a matchday 13 encounter this weekend.
