Abia Warriors forward, Ikoi Etta has reflected on his contribution to the club’s 2-0 win over Sporting Lagos in a Matchday 4 encounter at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
Etta came off the bench in the second half to score the opening goal in the 88th minute.
Chukwumeka Obioma sealed the victory with a second goal in the 90th minute.
Etta said his introduction from the bench was part of the team’s game plan to add energy.
“It’s an amazing win for us, as I always come on in the second half of matches to complement my team,” Etta said after the game.
“It’s our game plan because there is this energy I bring to the team, which is why our coach usually introduces me from the bench to come on and complement the team. It really worked out for us.”
