Shooting Stars forward, Austin Onyeamechi is optimistic that they will secure a positive result in their matchday 18 fixture against Niger Tornadoes.

The Oluyole Warriors will do battle with Niger Tornadoes at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on Sunday.

Onyeamechi said they are working hard to get a win over the Ikon Allah Boys.

“We are working towards our next game against Niger Tornadoes this weekend, hopefully we will get a victory in the game,” Onyeamechi told the club’s media.

Shooting Stars edged out Niger Tornadoes by 3-1 in the same fixture last season.

Ayodeji Bamidele, Anthony Okachi and Samuel Okon were on target for Shooting Stars, while Sunday Williams netted for Niger Tornadoes.
