Plateau United technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote has warned his players not to be carried away with the matchday 33 win over Ikorodu City.

Ogunbote’s side beat Ikorodu City 4-1 at the Lafia City Stadium on Monday.

The veteran tactician believed that his team is not free from relegation battle.

Plateau United moved up to eight position following the win over the Oga Boys.

They are six points above the relegation zone.

“We have five games left in the season, as we stand we are not completely free from the drop zone,” Ogunbote said in a chat with Plateau United’s media.

“I made the players understand that my definition of a good game is the beauty and success, which is that we can’t afford to toy with games.

“A loss or a draw will give us a temporary setback which we can’t afford to happen.”

Plateau United will take on Rivers United in Port Harcourt on Sunday.
