Remo Stars assistant coach, Sulaiman Folarin, is optimistic reliable midfielder Jabbar Malik will be available for the team’s matchday 14 encounter with Barau FC.
Malik was stretchered off the pitch during Remo Stars’ rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday five clash with Kano Pillars on Wednesday.
Folarin revealed that the player’s injury is not serious, and he expects him to recover in time for their next game
“Malik will be better for next game against Barau FC because it is not a serious injury at all,” Folarin told the club’s media.
“He has played for a long time I believe it is tiredness or muscle strain, I believe he should be okay before our next game on Sunday.”
Remo Stars will trade tackles with Barau FC at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta.
