Enyimba forward, Wonah William has revealed the reason for his team’s failure to secure victory in the clash against Warri Wolves.
William declared that the team’s failure to convert their scoring chances was the reason for the draw in Aba.
The People’s Elephant were held to a 0-0 draw by the Seasiders at the Enyimba International stadium, Aba on Sunday.
The nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions have managed only two wins from nine matches this season.
“We played very well but we failed to convert our chances in the game,” William stated in a post match interview.
William, however, promised that they improve on their lapses and make up for the lost points in their next league fixture in Lafia.
“It’s quite unfortunate, I believe we will work on it in our next game.
“We will shift our focus to our next match against Nasarawa United and I believe we can get a point there,” he added.
