Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has praised President Tinubu for making a decision that previous leaders avoided.
Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo says President Tinubu is a brave man for removing the fuel subsidy.
He said past leaders, from Obasanjo to Jonathan, could not do it because it could cost them their jobs.
He made the remarks on October 8 2026 during an APC mobilisation tour in Edo State.
He also said the reforms are working and the economy will grow stronger over time.
He wants the money from the reforms to reach ordinary Nigerians.
Once the gaps left by the old system are filled, he said, Nigeria will bounce back and become as strong as America and England.
