Nigerian comedian and actor Michael Charles Okechukwu, widely known as OGB Recent or OGB Cultist, has shed light on why American streamer IShowSpeed snubbed popular TikToker Peller twice during his recent trip to Nigeria.

The incident, which occurred in January 2026, was reportedly rooted in events that took place long before the duo ever crossed paths. According to OGB, Peller’s earlier actions and statements created tension that later influenced Speed’s response.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, OGB Recent disclosed that Peller had once shared a video in which he claimed he would deliberately ignore IShowSpeed if the streamer ever visited Nigeria, using strong and disrespectful language in the process.

OGB explained that this clip did not go unnoticed and played a significant role when Peller later sought an in-person meeting with the streamer.

He recounted that during Speed’s stay, he approached the streamer’s hotel with the help of businessman Obi Cubana and respectfully asked the security team for permission to take a photo, presenting Peller as his younger brother. The bouncers initially agreed, impressed by OGB’s calm and polite manner.

However, the situation reportedly changed when IShowSpeed came out and Peller revealed his true identity. At that point, the streamer declined the interaction.

OGB added that the security personnel later mentioned someone had previously acted rudely at the venue, an attitude they linked to Peller. This, he said, further explained the sudden shift in response.

He concluded by stating that Peller’s own conduct led to the rejection, criticising his lack of courtesy and warning that such behaviour could attract more serious consequences if not corrected. OGB stressed the importance of discipline and proper etiquette when dealing with influential personalities like IShowSpeed, who commands a massive global audience.
