Operatives of Eagle-Net Special Squad, in synergy with the Nigeria Hunters Forest Security, NHFSS, led by SP Yunusa Danyaya, have arrested twenty-seven (27) suspected armed robbers in Delta State.

The suspects were arrested at Basket Market along Asaba–Benin Road, Uromi Junction, on 09/09/2025, NEWSUNPLUG can report.

The Police also recovered from the suspects one locally fabricated firearm and large quantities of illicit drugs.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the report in a statement sent to our correspondent in Warri.

He noted that on the said day, the Police, “acting on high-powered intelligence report, conducted a raid operation at Basket Market along Asaba–Benin Road, Uromi Junction.
