The son of a traditional ruler has been arrested for setting a young man abl@ze over alleged theft in Okodi Community, Ogbia LGA, Bayelsa State.
Ibobuminaten Oweifa accused Godgift Biko of stealing wood and be tied him up and set him abl@ze.
Video shows Godgift begging for mercy as Oweifa poured a bottle of fuel on him before s£tting him on f!re.
Bayelsa State Police confirmed the incident and revealed that Oweifa has been arrested while the victim is receiving treatment in hospital for the burns he sustained.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of the ongoing police investigation.
