The family arrived at the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Headquarters on Monday morning, March 24, 2024, reporting that approximately two hundred (200) phone calls were received from men wanting to pay for the s3xual services as advertised.
The South African Police have commenced a probe after a fake Facebook account was created advertising a mother and her daughter as s3x workers.
A criminal case via SAPS Case 447/03/2025 has been registered by the victims.
The family arrived at the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Headquarters on Monday morning, March 24, 2024, reporting that approximately two hundred (200) phone calls were received from men wanting to pay for the s3xual services as advertised.
When interviewed the mother (38) and daughter (19) informed Reaction Officers that they resided in the Ethekweni District (location withheld).
A Facebook account was created by a person believed to be closely related to the family.
Personal details including telephone numbers, images and finer details unknown to the general public were shared on Friday 21/03/2025.
The mother & daughter have since been inundated with calls.
Investigations are currently in progress.
