Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reacted following his side’s international friendly 2-1 win against the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Wednesday.

Ronaldo featured as Portugal defeated Nigeria at the Estadio Dr Magalhaes Pessoa in Leiria.

Pedro Neto gave the hosts the lead in the 23rd minute of the encounter before Akor Adams equalized for Eric Chelle’s side before half-time.

However, in the second half, Francisco Conceicao scored to give Portugal the victory against Nigeria.

Reacting, Ronaldo, in a post on Instagram after the match, insisted that the preparation for the World Cup is done, adding that he and his teammates will now focus on the tournament proper.

“The preparation is done. Eyes on the World Cup,” Ronaldo posted alongside a picture of himself in action for Portugal against Nigeria.

Portugal is in Group K at the World Cup and will face DR Congo, Colombia and Uzbekistan.
