Controversial tech entrepreneur and cryptocurrency figure, Blord, has issued a stern warning to social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), over the continued use of the name “RATEL.”

In a strongly worded statement, Blord disclosed that he has instructed his Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) to issue a cease-and-desist letter to VDM, demanding that he immediately stop using the name “RATEL,” which Blord claims is now legally associated with his brand.

“I have directed my SAN to issue a cease-and-desist letter to VDM, instructing him to stop using my brand name, RATEL. He will have to get my approval henceforth before using the name RATEL,” Blord stated.

According to Blord, the name “RATEL” has become part of his brand identity and commercial interests, and its continued use by VDM without authorization amounts to brand infringement. He insisted that any future use of the name must receive his explicit consent.

As of the time of filing this report, VeryDarkMan has not publicly responded to Blord’s claim or the reported legal action. The situation is expected to generate further debate, especially among VDM’s supporters, who see “RATEL” as a platform linked to activism and public accountability.
