Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has brought smiles to her fans’ faces after posting a touching video featuring both of her parents together.
The actress and her family have been in the spotlight recently, following her public comments about domestic violence and the arrest of her brother, Sammy.
Amid the tension and online criticism, some celebrities have spoken out in her defense, calling out her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. In her new video, Regina revealed that her parents, who had been estranged for years, have now reunited in Abuja a move she said was inspired by her brother’s situation and her own emotional struggles.
Regina explained that her parents were once “sworn enemies” but have now come together out of love and support for their daughter. She expressed optimism that her brother would soon be released, noting that the prolonged detention had become difficult to endure. The actress vowed to take further action if necessary, believing that her husband’s real target in the situation was her.
Opening up about her family, Regina described her father, a respected lawyer, as someone deeply affected by Nigeria’s current challenges, adding that she plans to share more about him with her followers later. She praised her mother, Rita Daniels, calling her a “powerhouse” who would go to any length for her children. Regina expressed deep gratitude and love for both parents, saying their reconciliation meant the world to her.
This comes just weeks after Regina publicly spoke about facing domestic abuse in her marriage. Around that time, an old Facebook post from her father resurfaced, in which he shared photos with his children and revealed that his wife had distanced him because he opposed Regina’s marriage to Ned Nwoko.
