England’s Red Roses delivered a dominant 84–7 victory over Scotland in the Women’s Six Nations, showcasing their remarkable squad depth despite numerous absences. Head coach John Mitchell had described this period as a major test, and his side responded emphatically in front of a record crowd at Murrayfield.

With several key players unavailable due to injuries, retirement, and other reasons, a reshuffled England team still produced a clinical and relentless performance, scoring 12 tries. Captain Meg Jones praised the team’s intensity and continuous improvement as they extended their winning streak to 35 matches.

New and less experienced players stepped up impressively, including debutant Demelza Short and standout performers like Maddie Feaunati and Sadia Kabeya. Veteran prop Maud Muir also marked her 50th cap with a strong display, while Sarah Bern continued her try-scoring form off the bench.

Former England internationals highlighted the team’s all-round excellence, noting their improved physicality and ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities compared to their previous match against Ireland. The performance reinforced England’s status as the leading force in women’s rugby.

Looking ahead, England remain firm favorites to secure another Six Nations title and Grand Slam, with upcoming matches against Wales, Italy, and France set to test their continued dominance.
