Shooting Stars midfielder, Alade Balogun, has expressed disappointment with the team’s failure to win the 2026 Oyo State Federation Cup.

The Oluyole Warriors lost 4-2 on penalties to Crown FC at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on Sunday.

The keenly contested encounter ended 1-1 in regulation time.

Balogun said the team will work on the lapses and improve in subsequent matches.

“I feel very bad for the outcome of the game because we should have won the cup,” Balogun told 3SCfanstv.

“We accept the defeat and we go back to work harder and improve.”

Crown FC and runners-up Shooting Stars will represent Oyo State in the 2026 President’s Federation Cup.
