Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja is celebrating her birthday with a self-reflection.
On her Instagram page, she shared Angelic photos of herself in a while dress shot at Malibu Beach with a message to herself. She said this year’s birthday is particularly meaningful to her, as she feels a certain peace in her heart and knows it can only be God.
While reflecting, Sharon said she was in disbelief that a small girl like her from JTown could be at such a height. She described her story as the definition of grass-to-grace, and she promised to share her growth story properly.
The movie star noted that everything she has achieved is by God’s grace and expressed gratitude for her experience over the past year, including her career, family and personal life.
“Happy birthday to me, this birthday is so special to me, so special, because there’s a certain peace I feel in my heart, and I know it can only be God.
I sat down the other day to reflect, and I said, “Kai !!!” A small girl like me from Jtown sees how far God brought me, the real definition of grass to grace. One day, I’ll tell my growth story properly. For now we let’s celebrate God’s goodness.
See what He enabled me to achieve. For His word says it’s not he who plants it, or he who waters it, but HE who allows it to grow!! God has allowed me, and is still allowing me. He has kept every single promise to me, and for that I’m grateful.
The growth I’ve experienced in the past year can only be from God.
I’m thankful for true love, my family, my journey, and everything that God has in store for me, because I already know it’s about to be amazing, from the amazing movies I have coming out this year. In fact, to everything!!
