Al-Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has expressed happiness after his team defeated Al-Najma 5-2 in the Saudi Pro League, SPL, encounter on Friday.

The Portugal forward returned from injury to score two goals against the visitors at Alawwal Park, Riyadh

NEWSUNPLUG reports that a brace each from Ronaldo and Sadio Mane, and a goal from A. Alhamddan gave Al-Nassr all three points against Al-Najma.

Reacting after the game, Ronaldo took to his X account to post a photo of himself and his teammates celebrating with the caption, “It’s good to be back. We move forward together.”

Al-Nassr will now face Al Akhdoud in their next fixture next Saturday.

They currently sit at the top of the Saudi Pro League table with 70 points from 27 matches.
