A businessman, Marwan Usman, was brutally attacked and injured by suspected phone snatchers in Katsina State.
The incident occurred at his workplace along IBB Road, near Kaura Gate close to the MTN office on Sunday night, September 21.
Narrating the ordeal, Marwan said the assailants struck while he was refilling his generator to continue his night business operations.
The hoodlums demanded his mobile phone, but he resisted giving it to them.
In retaliation, the attackers inflicted multiple machete cuts on him before fleeing the scene without successfully taking the phone.
