Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has taken aim at TikTok personality Habeeb Hamzat, also called Peller, following his recent car accident and split from fellow content creator Elizabeth Amaduo, widely known as Jarvis.
In a lengthy video shared on Instagram, VDM described the former couple’s relationship as unhealthy, claiming it was emotionally damaging and marked by toxic behavior. He confirmed that Peller survived the crash and stated that the TikToker was the one who ended the relationship.
VDM’s comments followed widespread online reactions to a viral livestream in which Peller appeared visibly distressed shortly before the accident involving his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz SUV.
Reacting to the incident, the outspoken critic accused Peller of acting recklessly both before and after the crash. According to him, the influencer’s conduct reflected selfishness, irresponsibility, and emotional manipulation, particularly in his dealings with Jarvis.
VDM advised Jarvis to permanently distance herself from Peller, warning that the relationship posed serious emotional and mental strain. He stressed that any situation where one partner resorts to extreme emotional pressure is unhealthy, adding that Jarvis bore the brunt of the fallout.
He further alleged that Peller frequently disrespected Jarvis in public, including during live streams and at social events, and accused him of trying to dominate the relationship despite lacking self-discipline.
The activist also noted that while both influencers’ careers were affected by the relationship, Jarvis suffered greater setbacks. He argued that she had her own creative identity and direction before the relationship, which diminished afterward.
Beyond the personal issues, VDM criticized Peller’s management team, questioning why a high-profile influencer with a massive following was left without adequate supervision or support during such a turbulent period.
He went on to urge Peller to seek professional help, suggesting therapy or rehabilitation to address what he described as impulsive and dangerous behavior, which could have led to severe consequences.
In closing, VDM called on the management teams of both influencers to ensure that the relationship remains over, warning that a reunion could result in further harm. He maintained that ending the relationship completely was the safest option for everyone involved.
