Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has stirred conversations online following a recent Instagram post discussing an alleged affair between a married man and a married woman, a situation that has fueled speculation about her marriage to actor Frederick Leonard.
It will be recalled that in 2024, veteran Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop alleged that Peggy Ovire and Frederick Leonard’s marriage was forced and had already ended.
In the lengthy Instagram post, the actress asked women how they would react if they discovered their partner was having an affair with a married woman who has children.
According to the scenario she described, the husband publicly praises the married woman but privately tells his wife that the woman is “local,” allegedly to avoid raising suspicion.
She further stated that the wife later discovered that her husband and the woman were in an intimate relationship, meeting either at his apartment when he was at work or in hotels.
The post also claimed that after marriage, the husband began comparing his wife to the married side chick.
“You asked him about it, but he totally denies it, saying they are just friends, and you completely believed him. You eventually got married to him. Your husband always hypes the married woman in public, but privately he tells you how local this friend of his is, just to manipulate you so you will not suspect a thin,” her post reads in part.
However, the wife eventually discovered that her husband had been visiting the woman, despite his insistence that they were only friends.
