Makeup artist and fashion stylist Black Koko, born Fred Ebikeme, has triggered widespread debate online after comments he made during a recent interview about feminine boys and the entertainment industry.

The outspoken style figure appeared on The Clarity Show hosted by Nedu Wazobia, where he openly discussed his personal journey and the difficulties he has encountered because of his lifestyle.

In the now-trending clip, Black Koko revealed that he has faced physical attacks in the past. He recalled an incident in which a group of men allegedly assaulted him with wooden objects, accusing him of negatively influencing society.

He went on to say that many feminine boys endure daily struggles due to deep-rooted intolerance within society. Expanding on this, he shared an experience where he and others visited Mushin to distribute food to feminine boys living in the area.

According to Black Koko, some of these individuals are physically abused during the day and later exploited at night by people involved in illegal activities.

During the same interview, he also made controversial claims about entertainers, suggesting that some public figures who appear conventional during the day secretly live different lifestyles at night. He alleged that certain entertainers attend private gatherings dressed as women or “baddies,” only to later conceal that side of their lives while publicly showing off female partners.

The interview sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many users criticizing his fashion choices and lifestyle. Others paid attention to the reactions of the women present during the interview, commenting on their facial expressions throughout the discussion.

Some viewers also noted that Black Koko frequently wiped away tears while speaking, describing it as a distraction.

The discussion resurfaced memories of a previous incident involving a crossdresser identified as Emeka, who was reportedly attacked months ago over his mode of dressing. A viral video from the incident showed an unidentified man hitting him with a piece of wood while he stood alone.

Reports later stated that Emeka was taken to Yaba Left for treatment after allegedly experiencing mental health challenges.
