Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, a well-known pastor in Plateau State, has raised an alarm over alleged threats to his life and members of his congregation following a series of deadly attacks in the state.

The cleric made the claims in an emotional video that has gained widespread attention online, alleging that suspected attackers had threatened to kill another member of his church after nine of his siblings were reportedly k!lled in a previous attack.

Speaking with visible pain and frustration, Dachomo said he would rather be detained by security agencies than continue living under fear and grief while mourning his loved ones and supporting affected members of his community.

“Under the Muslim-Muslim ticket they want to finish us. Please, I’m waiting for my arrest. It will be far better for me to be in police custody, army custody or guard room than to be outside crying every day, mourning, suffering and comforting my people,” he said.

The pastor further alleged that he received a threatening message from suspected assailants, warning that another member of his congregation could face the same fate as his late brother.

According to Dachomo, residents of affected communities, especially young people, have become increasingly involved in efforts to protect themselves due to rising security concerns. He appealed to security authorities to strengthen their presence in Bakin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

“They sent me a letter saying they will k!ll my member the way they k!lled my brother. If anything happens to my member, there will be mass revolution in Plateau State. Our patience does not mean we are cowards. We are in pain,” the cleric stated.

Dachomo urged the government and security agencies to take immediate action to prevent further violence, warning that continued attacks could increase tension and unrest across the state.

His comments have generated reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing concern over the security situation in Plateau communities. Several people have called on authorities to investigate the allegations and ensure adequate protection for residents.
