Nigerian music promoter Ijoba Danny has alleged that he was attacked by a group of unidentified boys on the streets near Fela Shrine, reportedly due to his political stance.
In a statement circulating on social media, Ijoba Danny claimed the incident occurred shortly after he openly expressed support for the ruling party and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
“I was a77ack3d yesterday on the street of Fela Shrine by some boys just because I was supporting APC and Tinubu 2027. They wound me and broke my windscreen.”
According to him, the attack left him injured and caused damage to his vehicle, particularly his windscreen. Details surrounding the exact circumstances of the incident remain unclear, and the identities of the alleged attackers have not been confirmed.
