Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola has spoken out regarding the recent online allegations of fraud surrounding Agbala Gabriel.

Two individuals in poor health recently claimed that Gabriel collected donations on their behalf but failed to deliver the funds. He also faces accusations of misappropriating money raised by fans and actors for other sick individuals.

Daramola became involved because she had previously helped raise money for one of the women, Morenikeji, who is suffering from a spinal condition. Morenikeji alleged that Gabriel prevented her from accessing the funds intended for her treatment.

The actress explained that she initially stepped back after Morenikeji’s  family took her to Ibadan to meet Gabriel. She noted that Gabriel is said to have raised over N240 million for various causes, yet some recipients claim they never received the support meant for them.

Daramola shared that she was frustrated when Morenikeji’s family later returned to her for assistance. She revealed that she had arranged a house for them in Lagos and provided medical equipment to monitor Morenikeji’s health while they continued fundraising for the surgery.

In a livestream, Ronke, one of Morenikeji’s children, recounted their experience with Gabriel. She confirmed that Daramola had organized financial support, accommodation, and medical supplies for her mother. However, they eventually traveled to meet Gabriel in Ibadan.

Ronke said they were taken to a rural location where Gabriel allegedly promised to build a house for them. Although she suggested using their own land, Gabriel reportedly insisted on using his property. She added that during their stay in Ibadan, Gabriel allegedly failed to provide the necessary support, forcing them to return to Lagos to seek Daramola’s help once more.
