Nigerian music star Peter Okoye has broken his silence following boxer Anthony Joshua’s accident.
Newsunplug reported on Monday that the World heavyweight boxer was involved in a road accident along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Makun area of Ogun State. He was said to be travelling in a Lexus SUV with registration number KRD 850 HN, which collided with a stationary truck. While the boxer sustained minor injuries, two occupants of the vehicle reportedly died on the spot.
Reacting to the sad news on his Instagram page, Peter said this accident shattered him completely. He said he can’t believe Anthony Joshua’s friends Latz and Sina are dead.
Sending a message to Joshua, he said his heart breaks for him and promised that his late friends will forever live in their memories and in the love they left behind
He said that despite the storm, he is grateful to God for sparing his life and prayed that God comforts, guide, and help him carry their legacy with pride and strength.
