A woman has shared her struggles after trying to spend a fun day out with friends.

She claimed she went to a cinema only to meet total black out. She said she and her friends were told there was no light and the cinema’s generator needed servicing.

They then went to a lounge where she claims they were told they must pay N150,000 just to gain entrance.

She added that a third place they went to insisted they must order drinks, the least of which was priced at N600,000 before they could order any food they could afford from the menu.

She wrote: “This evening, we checked online for movies showing at Film house Cinema, Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere.
Saw one we liked and just got there now. Lmao.

“Cinema staff says there’s no light and the mall’s lister needs servicing abi e spoil.

“Lmao! As in, blackout for cinema.

“If dem explain Nigeria to you 100 times and you understand, they have not explained it well to you.

“This economy and anyhowness go touch everybody and every business, las las.

“Yesterday, it was a lounge/restaurant where we wanted to go eat fish, telling us we must pay 150k to be able to enter. As in, minimum spend, 150k.

“That one is even better. On Friday, we went out for drinks, had fun in a cool lounge and decided to go to a second location Eze Nwanyi or Lynda suggested.

“We got there and they brought menu. There’s a regular side of the menu where you see normal drinks and cocktails, food, etc. I ordered for a drink and a plate of food, with one bottle of water. Mind you, this amounted to about 70k. Just one plate of food, a drink and water. Then, I passed the menu to others.

“That’s when the waiter told us that actually, they can only sell things on that side of the menu to us AFTER we order for a drink on the other side. I kid you not, the least priced bottle of drinks on that side of the menu was 600k. I de scan, de see 1.5million, 2.2million.

“Lmao! Na Lynda first stand up, lead the way as we waka go elsewhere abeg.

“Lagos my Lagos! Una de try.”
