Social media activist VeryDarkMan has raised alarm over the case of a young man who allegedly discovered that one of his kidneys was missing after receiving treatment at a hospital.
According to VDM, the young man visited his office on August 18, 2026, claiming that he had gone to a hospital where one of his kidneys was allegedly removed.
“This young man came to my office on the 18/8/2026 and according to him he went to a hospital and his kidney was removed (this is indeed one of the scariest cases I have ever involved myself in),” he said.
VDM said further medical checks were carried out on the young man and that a scan allegedly showed that one kidney was absent.
He described the development as one of the most disturbing cases he has ever handled, while indicating that further investigation would be necessary to establish exactly what happened.
The identity of the hospital involved and the circumstances surrounding the alleged removal have not been disclosed, and the claim has not been independently verified.
The case has nevertheless triggered strong reactions online, with some Nigerians demanding that the hospital be identified, while others cautioned against reaching conclusions before a proper investigation is completed.
